Nancy Sponseller has regularly represented Dunkin' Donuts Incorporated and Baskin-Robbins in matters throughout Ohio for over the past 18 years. Ms. Sponseller has also represented other franchisors as well as franchisees and those purchasing a franchise. Here, more specifically, is what we do in the franchise area:

• Enforcement of existing franchise and lease agreements, by issuing notices to cure defaults, followed by terminations if cure is not made

• Filing and prosecuting civil actions in federal court under the Lanham Act for trademark, trade name and trade dress infringement following terminations. This includes obtaining restraining orders and injunctions.

• Negotiate settlements, to resolve existing disputes

• Review franchise agreements and related documents/disclosures preliminary to a client’s purchase of a franchise
